This is planning a quinceanera party part 2. Our next thing to plan is the food, please don’t serve barbacoa like everybody else, be unique and your guests will love you. Ok, the next thing to decide is to have waiters or not, many smart organizadoras de quince, are deciding to have a buffet like quince, where people choose between different plates of food, we love buffets plus you don’t have to hire waiters, and food is not wasted as much.
Rules, Rules, Did you know that some banquet halls or salones don’t allow alcoholic drinks. Have that in mind, I have seen many parties that serve alcohol anyway but, beware because the police may come and cancel the party, I’ve seen it happen so follow the rules.
Always try to book dates as early as possible and ask for a contract, and please pay the contract fees, I’ve seen parties canceled because people paid only part of the deposit. And guess what, you loose that deposit completely. It is always a good idea to plan ahead and rent the reception hall a little bigger, why? sometimes, parties get over crowded and become a hazard, and guess what, the police may cancel it.
I don’t to scare you but many parties get canceled, for some reason or another, here is a little list of why some quinceanera parties are cancelled:
1. Too much people in the party, it exceeds the building capacity.
2. People entering and exiting the building too much.
3. People drinking outside the building
4. People doing drugs in the bathroom or outside the building
5. People fighting
6. Music is too loud
7. Kids playing outside the building unattended
