How to get cheap quinceanera invitations.  If you have time in your hands, then you can make your own invitations. Go buy some paper at your arts and crafts store.  They offer many colors and styles.  Better yet, if you need to make hundreds of invitations then go to any staples or office depot and get a 500 ream for under $20 dollars. Remember to get  card stock paper, anything avobe 96lb will do.  If you need to print then 96lb is the your best choice.  96lb is the thickness of the paper.  Regular paper is 20lb.  while you are at the store get some  craft scissors like these:

Card stock paper is not very good with inkjet printers.  Ink always spreads out.  Always try all your printer paper settings to see the results and choose the best one.  Remember  that adding ribbons and small flowers to the invite looks great, but will increase the cost of the invitation, if you’re making only 20 invites then it is no problem but making 150 then that’s another story.   Remember that if you want cheap quinceanera invitations then the key is to keep it simple.

The quinceanera scroll invitations are something unique but beware of the plastic tubes or holders these are most expensive than the invitations themselves.  It is a wise idea to buy them separaterly from your invitation vendor.  Also avoid special color tubes, since these will be more expensive sometimes.  Try to go with the basic clear white scroll tube. Also a cool and cheap choice is to buy ribbon rolls and tie the invitations with that.  Then you can match your ribbon color with your dress color.  If you are on a budget, then try to avoid putting extra stuff glued to the tubes.  The price of your invitations will go up very fast if you do.  Remember to keep your quinceanera scroll invitations very simple to keep them under budget.

Handmade quinceanera invitations can be a fun project. The sky is the limit on how creative you can go. Many invitations are easy to do, but some others are very challenging. Get some paper and get your printer ready. This project is not recommended if you have more than 100 invitations. If your design has a lot of color and you’re printing on regular paper, then don’t forget to select regular paper on your printer settings. This will save on some ink. Photographic paper usually uses more ink, but it looks much nicer and pictures just look perfect. A bad thing about photo paper is that it is very thick. If you are using translucent paper, then try to decrease the amount of ink your printer uses. Try not to glue anything to the paper before you print your verse, you will damage your printer. Remember that any font smaller than 12 is hard to read. If you’re doing a small quince invitation then try not to go below 10 pt. Don’t use too many fonts, or your invites will look cheap. Try not to use no more than 3. If you’re cutting paper and if your budget allows it, then buy a paper cutter. Cutting invitations with plain scissors will look not as professional. Practice cutting on some other paper, and don’t waste your invitation paper. You can also buy already cut paper but it is more expensive. If you’re using already cut paper then check your printer specs, usually you can not insert paper in your printer if it is smaller than 4×4. Check your printer for the exact size. Handmade quinceanera invitations can be a fun project, but do it with a lot of time in advance, just in case you decide to buy them instead.

Traditional Quinceanera Invitations

These are your traditional quinceanera invitations.  Very versatile because the paper itself does not have any colors, therefore all you have to do is change the font or lettering color to  match your theme color.  Also this style has two panels for your information.  For those moms or quinceaneras new to buying quinceanera invitations, remember that the reception cards and lined envelopes are extra.  Lined envelopes are those envelopes with an extra piece of paper inside to make them look more elegant. The invitaton above has a pink lined envelope. Lined envelopes are usually an extra $15 dollars per 100.  Reception cards cost around $70 dollars extra per 100 for this type of invitation.

Unique Quinceanera Invitations

Today I got a sample pack of  unique quinceanera invitations from MagnetStreet.com. These invitations were just released today and they are very nice.  The printing quality is just excellent.  They have an online studio where you can change fonts, colors and upload your own picture. With regular invitations the only color you can change is the font color.  I just love their online tools to match your invite colors to your dress color.  Their flat invitation is 5″ x 7.875″.  For 150 invitations expect to pay around $195 dollars which is a normal price for invitations.
