Masquerade Quinceanera Invitations

Well there is no rule on what songs to choose, but  father and dughter songs are more romantic in nature, entrance songs are more modern with faster rhythm.  A good father / daughter song combo I have seen is when it starts with a slow song or romantic song and ends with bachata or salsa, or cumbia, that combo always make the crowd happy.

I love a good photo session before the actual quinceanera party. Having your pictures taken before the date has many advantages, read some of my favorites:
You have all the time of the world
I hate when we’re having a good picture session and time runs out, but having your pictures taken before the date fixes this, i just love it. Plus more time means more pictures, and even more locations, a good location always has many good spots to take good pictures, but sometimes, you really desire a cooler or different backdrop, many times you’re finished with your typical poses and you just want to take some last pictures, maybe downtown, in the park, or somewhere with cool architecture, or someplace cool. Of course you couldn’t do this on the very same date of your quinceanera.

Th hours for best pictures
The best hours to take pictures is always either very early or at dawn, for a quinceanera at dawn would be perfect since, you have to give time for the quinceanera to go to the salon, get the dress ready, or even get the dresses ready in case you want a session with different outfits.

Don’t forge to smile
A golden rule for a quince photo session is to always smile, a picture with you smiling beats any day a picture with a good pose but a sad face. Of course in any complete photo session you will have many types of pictures, with different poses, backdrops.

Photographer + Videograher
You can’t do both, you either take pictures of control the camera. If you hired a video and photo package makes sure you get two people for the job, one taking pictures and the other one recording. Many talented people can do both tasks but not at the same time and will always need another person to help to do a good job.

If you’re in the planning process of your quinceanera, and have not decided on a theme, today let’s talk about a masquerade theme for your quinceanera. Of course the first thing that goes into mind is masks, but don’t forget that feathers go into this theme also.

There are many types of masks available, many very expensive, since they are handmade. You can also buy them blank or plain white and paint them yourself adding a special color of your theme. It would be a cool project to do.

I have not really seen any masquerade dresses, I have seen zebra pattern dresses but not masquerade.

I love these invitations, since the background color can be personalized to any color, and the black mask looks very nice. When looking for quinceanera invitations I always like something different and unique.

Masquerade Decoration

Any masquerade theme is not finish with a little something extra as decorations, of course you can have masks, but masks are sometimes only used for the dances.

You can incorporate something on the cake, since the cake is a very important focus point in your party. You can also have a little collage of masquerade theme for your pictures, just a little space where you can take pictures.
Another good idea is to have some masks for the waiters and staff. At the entrance of your reception you can give out some inexpensive plastic masks also.

If your invitation has plenty of space for a large verse then you’re ok, bu if not, is best to choose a small verse for your invitations. Here are some small ones.

It is always a good idea to choose the hairstyle early, then if possible, test it out on your picture day, choose a style that is trendy and goes with your dress. And do not rely on hairspray to hold it all night, a good hairstyle will hold all day and night, only a professional hairstylist can do that.
